Dr. Mark Horowitz

Dr. Mark Horowitz is the medical director at Coast Dermatology Medical Associates, which is one of the largest dermatology practices in Southern California. After completing his training at Michigan State University over 19 years ago, he has mastered some of the most advanced techniques available in dermatology and cosmetic surgery today. Dr. Mark Horowitz is an expert in general, cosmetic and surgical dermatology including Mohs micrographic surgery.

In addition to being in private practice, Dr. Horowitz has been a professor of Dermatology. He was the assistant director of the Western University/Pacific Hospital Dermatology residency program and was involved in teaching resident physicians at UCLA Harbor Hospital. Dr. Horowitz has published multiple articles in prestigious medical journals. He has been asked to be a speaker for many pharmaceutical companies and has conducted clinical trials on new and innovative medications.

Dr. Horowitz and his wife are the parents of 5 children. In addition to his practice of medicine, he has been very active in multiple charitable causes within his community and sits on the board of several charitable organizations.

Dr. Jeremy Fine

Dr. Jeremy Fine, a native of Johannesburg, South Africa, grew up in Los Angeles. He completed his medical training in internal medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in 2004 and was then selected to be Chief Resident, a role in which he enjoyed teaching the practice and more importantly, the “art” of medicine to physicians and medical students.

Dr. Fine has served on the Executive Committee, Bioethics Committee and the Medical Informatics Committee at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is also a former Clinical Instructor of Medicine at both the UCLA and USC Schools of Medicine.

Dr. Fine is board certified in Internal Medicine. His practice philosophy incorporates an emphasis on not only listening to his patients but also hearing what they have to say.
He has been consistently chosen by Los Angeles Magazine as one of the Best Doctors in Los Angeles for his exemplary skills and innovative approach to medicine. He has also been selected as one of California’s Favorite Physicians. In 2010, he was voted Most Compassionate Doctor. He has been chosen annually as an “Industry Favorite” by the Hollywood Reporter. Most recently, he was awarded a spot in Marquis’ Who’s Who in America.

Dr. Fine loves to travel and has practiced medicine and lectured in cities across the globe including Norway, Sydney, and Japan.

Troy Medley

Troy Medley is a vision-driven, goal-focused executive with a proven history of achievement in both private equity backed growth business and not-for-profit environments. Throughout his 25-year career, Medley has established a reputation as a transformational leader who is driven by challenge, undeterred by obstacles, and committed to furthering standards of excellence. His expertise encompasses all aspects of business administration, including capital formation and fundraising, controlling costs while simultaneously maximizing revenues, creating compelling corporate visions and harnessing team strengths to improve companywide performance. Further, his ability to build consensus among executive teams and stakeholders to promote transparency and influence positive change has been repeatedly proven.

A list of his professional accomplishments is below:

  • Built and harvested the largest manager of concierge medical practices in Southern California, integrating primary medical care, fitness and nutrition programs, and lifestyle education.
  • Developed the leading hospital affiliated executive health program in Southern California; selected as the only non-hospital manager of the NFLPA Brain and Body Program by Cleveland Clinic.
  • Successfully turned around struggling sports performance training company over an 18-month period – the largest in the world.
  • Simultaneously held Chairman role in three of Southern California’s top not-for-profit charities.
  • Founded the fastest growing charter school in Orange County, CA.
  • As Chairman, led a seventeen-member board of Miracles for Kids, the only organization in Southern California dedicated to meeting the financial needs of families with life threatening illnesses.
  • Former Chairman of Gen-Next, an invitation-only organization dedicated to learning about and becoming engaged with the most pressing challenges facing future generations. Gen-Next aims to ensure anyone can achieve success by expanding the opportunities that await them. The three focus areas of Gen-Next include education reform, economic growth, and global security.

Mr. Medley sold PersonalCare Physicians, LLC to a regional health system in February 2017 and remained as CEO through yearend.

Dr. Daniel Aghion

Dr. Daniel Aghion is a neurosurgeon at Memorial Neuroscience Institute in Hollywood, Florida where he treats patients with a wide array of spine disorders, including severe degenerative spine diseases, spine trauma, cancer in the spine, spine tumors, peripheral nerve surgery and more.
Born and raised in Boston, he went to the University of Michigan and fell in love with neuroscience. He attended Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, in Tel Aviv, Israel, before completing a residency at Rhode Island Hospital, and a complex spine fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Currently, at Memorial Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, he is focused on treating a wide variety of not only primary, but also metastatic spine and brain tumors. He has a close relationship with Memorial Cancer Institute and has established a multidisciplinary tumor board at Memorial Hospital West. Consulting with oncologists, radiation oncologists and neuro radiologists, he leads spine surgery at that facility. He is able to provide expert consultation and intervention to a wide variety of patients with neurosurgical diseases.

He credits his international training with giving him a solid base for how to approach people from different cultures and a more hands-on approach. He fully embraces Memorial’s focus on patient- and family-centered care and the system’s multidisciplinary approach, which enables doctors from different specialties to work together to provide the most comprehensive care.
